BlockDown Conference is set to celebrate its first anniversary with its most ambitious event to date on April 15-16. BlockDown 4.0 will be a gathering of the greatest minds in the crypto space, celebrating the bull market of 2021 with keynotes, panels and much more.
Attendees will experience new interactive and innovative ways to obtain exclusive NFTs, access private backstage Q&As and discussions, and virtually join the top names in the industry as they discuss their latest thoughts and predictions on the crypto ecosystem:
- Akon – Founder of Akoin
- Francis Xavier Suarez – Mayor of Miami
- Sergey Nazarov – Co-Founder of Chainlink
Further speakers will be announced over the coming weeks.
Special edition NFTs will be up for grabs during the event, with the users who interact most on the Theta.TV streaming platform selected for exciting rewards. NFT Drops from partner projects will take place at random intervals throughout the two-day conference – allowing the audience to enjoy limited tokens only available at BlockDown 4.0.
Event organisers EAK Digital, A Blockchain Marketing Agency, will be using the latest social media platform to take the world by storm: Clubhouse. This invitation-only audio platform will play host to a two-day secret agenda with guest speakers and crypto experts dropping in to discuss their thoughts and share discussions in an informal ‘BlockDown Backstage’.
There’ll also be exclusive roundtable side events, hosted by projects looking to share more about their developments to an engaged community.
And what better way to embrace the bull market, and add a flavour of humour during these challenging times, than by introducing BlockDown’s brand new mascot: Brian The BlockDown Bull? During the lead up to the event, Brian will be at the helm of social media promotion, as he travels the crypto universe, sharing his words of wisdom, insights and thoughts with the BlockDown community.
As part of the conference’s first birthday celebrations; BlockDown 4.0 will see a return of the beautiful live illustrations that were a highlight of the first edition. A live illustration will be created for each keynote speaker as they take the virtual stage, ensuring a beautiful, shareable takeaway for participants.
BlockDown’s first four virtual events, including a LATAM-focused edition, have been watched by a global audience of over 30,000; with another strong turnout expected for this incredible line-up of guests.
Organisers EAK Digital have lined up media representatives from some of the blockchain, business and fintech world’s best-known publications, including Bloomberg and Forbes, to help moderate and participate in debates. The whole event will also be live streamed to leading crypto news sites, including: Cryptoslate, NewsBTC, Bitcoinist, CriptoNoticias, THETA.tv and Cryptonews.
Erhan Korhaliller, Founder & CEO of EAK Digital, launched BlockDown Conference in April 2020 following the postponement of another of the blockchain marketing agency’s events, Istanbul Blockchain Week, due to the international Covid-19 crisis.
“The EAK Digital team [organisers of BlockDown Conference] are thrilled for BlockDown’s return, as we introduce the first-anniversary edition of our international blockchain event. Following the success of being the first virtual blockchain conference in April 2020, our goal is to constantly innovate and lead. With international lockdown restrictions still in place throughout the world, BlockDown 4.0 will provide delight and inspiration to our community, through our content and event production.”
Previous editions of BlockDown have attracted top reviews from some of the biggest names in the industry with Akon, Changpeng Zhao, Charles Hoskinson, Dovey Wan, Erik Voorhees, Ciara Sun and Roger Ver all providing glowing feedback.
