Anime and manga social networking and social cataloging application website MyAnimeList (MAL) is integrating crypto payments. The development was revealed in a by Digital Entertainment Asset (DEA). DEA is partnering with MyAnimeList’s parent company Media Do.
The partnership would help the circulation of DEAPcoins on MyAnimeList. Also, DEA will use Media Do’s intellectual property for blockchain-supported games on the playing platform.
Already, users are rewarded with DEAPcoins for playing games and reading manga comics. Now, the rewards will be extended to users enjoying free content on the MyAnimeList platform.
According to the published announcement on the 2nd of December, DEA and Media Do are coming together to “promote the global expansion of e-book content that utilizes blockchain technology.”
