Bitcoin dropped to its lowest point in a month Thursday, after Russian forces launched missiles at several Ukrainian cities and landed troops along its coast. This triggered a sell-off in riskier assets as well as an increase in oil prices to over $100 per barrel.
Bitcoin dropped 7.9 percent to $34,324, the lowest level since January 24, when it was trading at 4.9 percent.
The ether lost as much as 10.8 per cent on smaller coins that move with bitcoin.
