Cryptocurrency Prices Today: Bitcoin, Ethereum fall; Ripple rises

Over the past 24 hours, the overall volume of crypto market has fallen by 22.79% to $69.25 billion on Feb 13. DeFi currently accounts for 13.84% of the total 24-hour crypto market volume. The total volume of all stablecoins stands at $55.84 billion. This accounts for 80.63% of the 24-hour crypto market volume. Bitcoin’s current price is $42,275.87.

The current dominance in Bitcoin stands at 42.29 percent. This is the same as yesterday.

Recent weeks have seen the volatility associated with cryptocurrency has been evident. Bitcoin, the most popular cryptocurrency, has seen a 33% increase since January 24, after a plunge that saw its price drop by half from November’s record high. The main competitor, Ethereum, has seen a 45 percent increase since January 24, after a drop of nearly 56% from its November record high of $4868, also in November.

In rupee terms Ethereum dropped 0.68 percent to trade in at Rs 33.73.863, while Ethereum fell 1.48 percent to Rs 2.32.499.7.

Cardano dropped nearly 2.92 percent at Rs 84.40, while Avalanche fell over 3.67 percent at Rs 6,484.300. On the other hand Ripple (XRP) rose 5.07 percent.
