Cryptocurrency Prices Today: Bitcoin, Ethereum up

Bitcoin’s current price is Rs 33 lakh. Its dominance in the crypto market for the last 24 hours has been 40.19 percent. This is a decrease by 0.54 percent over the previous day.
On January 12, cryptocurrency traded in green. Global cryptocurrency market cap stands at $2.01 trillion. This is a 2.39 percent rise over the previous day. The crypto market volume for the last 24 hours was $87.43 billion. This is a decrease of 15.56 percent.

DeFi’s total volume is $13.74 billion at the moment, which is 15.72 percent of total crypto market 24-hour volumes. All stablecoins now account for $67.48 trillion, or 77.18% of the total crypto market 24-hour volume.

As cryptocurrency prices continue to tumble, CoinShares reported that funds and investment products in cryptocurrency had record net outflows last Week, totalling $207 million.

The sector experienced four weeks of outflows consecutively since mid-December. It reached $465 million or 0.8 percent total assets under management, Reuters reported.

Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, saw outflows of $107 millions in the week ending January 7. Ethereum-based products saw outflows last week of $39 millions. They posted five consecutive weeks of outflows totaling $200 million.

CoinShares stated that Ethereum’s outflows were proportional to total AUM at 1.4 percent, which is higher than Bitcoin. CoinShares observed that there has been more investor activity over the past four weeks than usual.
