Telegram Releases Its TON Testnet Blockchain Lite Client

As per the readme information file, these new files are a distribution of a preliminary version of the TON Blockchain Network Lite Client and include relevant portions of the TON Blockchain Library.  The archive of files is a simplified stable version of the Lite Client.

Alon with installing Lite Client, the users could also install a configuration file for smart contract development that will connect the lite client to a special server. Wherein users could enable a number of features such as creating new smart contracts, sending external messages to smart contracts and auditing the state of existing among other things.

Notably, the file further elaborates that the users can purportedly deploy Fift in order to compile, execute, and debug smart contracts locally. The programming language for TON, Fift was released last week. It is specifically designed to develop and manage TON blockchain smart contracts, and to interact with the TON Virtual Machine.
