Twitter displays NFT profile photos as hexagons. This distinguishes them from other users’ standard circles. Clicking on the images will bring up details about the art and the owner.
Twitter Inc announced on January 20 that it had launched a tool which allows users to showcase non-fungible tokens as profile pictures. This taps into the digital collectibles boom of the past year.

This feature is available to subscribers to Twitter Blue on iOS. It connects users’ Twitter accounts to crypto wallets, where they can store NFT holdings.

Last year, the social media platform added functionality to allow users to send and get Bitcoins.
